Safety Rules
Safety is our top priority when engaging in underwater photography. Here are the essential rules we must follow to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience:
- We must schedule our shoot during low tide to minimize the risk of rough waves and ensure a safe environment.
- We will spend 30–45 minutes in the water before it becomes uncomfortable. This ensures a pleasant experience without risking hypothermia or fatigue.
- If you’re allergic to jellyfish, please inform me beforehand. We may need to adjust the location or session to avoid risks.
- We cannot enter areas marked with “no swimming” signs for your safety and to comply with local regulations.
- We will stay in water no deeper than chest height to prevent any incidents and ensure everyone is comfortable.
- A spotter will be present to monitor the ocean conditions and ensure that no one gets caught in a rip tide.
- We cannot proceed with the shoot during thunderstorms or heavy rain for safety reasons. Your safety is my priority, and I will only shoot when conditions are safe.
When is the best time?
Timing plays a crucial role in underwater photography to capture the best light and atmosphere. While anytime is technically suitable, here are my recommendations:
• Sunrise: Offers gentle lighting and serene waters, perfect for a calm and dreamy shoot.
• Sunset: Provides warm, golden hues and dramatic skies, adding a romantic touch to your photos.
• Midday: Offers bright light and vibrant colors, but may create harsher shadows. Ideal for those who love vivid imagery.
Choosing the right time ensures that we capture the most beautiful and authentic moments, enhancing the natural beauty of your surroundings.
Swimming Pools and Shallow Places
I also offer to photograph my couples in private pools and controlled areas.
