I photographed Elisa and Chris's wedding in 2024. They're a client turned to long time friends. They are from Washington and flew in to visit their parent's get away home. They had around 20 guests. Ceremony at the chapel. Portraits right after. No long travel between locations.
That changes the pace of the day. More time. Less rushing. Cleaner transitions.
Most weddings here happen at the chapel, Bald Head Island Club, or private homes. Beach portraits usually happen right after while everything is still close.

Logistics
Arranging their wedding was very easy. Dev from Detailed Events Vision, also a very close friend of mine, had set up the wedding for them. The vendors were, 1 photographer, wedding planner, officiant, Bald Head Island Club, chapel. All they really had to do was show up an ample amount of time before the wedding, to make sure you like the food, table arrangements, engagement session, timeline, and locations to photograph them.
You'll also need your marriage license.
Make sure you pick out your wedding dress, hot press your tux and get married in Bald Head Island.
