Steps to Book Will Poole as Your Wedding Officiant

  1. Check Availability
  2. Email Will at jwpceremonies@gmail.com to check if your wedding date is available.
  3. Schedule an Initial Consultation
  4. Secure Your Date
  5. Pay a $100 deposit to reserve your wedding date. Payments can be made via cash, check, money order, or PayPal (jwpceremonies@gmail.com).
  6. Plan Your Ceremony
  7. Have a face-to-face meeting with Will to go over the contract and initial ceremony outline.
  8. Stay in touch via unlimited email and phone contact to work through ceremony details.
  9. Decide on Rehearsal Attendance
  10. Choose whether to have Will attend your rehearsal for an additional $100.
  11. If you waive this, you’ll receive a free "How To Guide To Your Rehearsal."
  12. Prepare for the Ceremony
  13. Ensure you have your marriage license in hand before the day of your ceremony.
  14. Enjoy Your Ceremony
  15. Will officiates your ceremony with a 1-hour commitment.
  16. If needed, a 30-minute buffer is available for $25.
  17. Certified Mailing of Marriage Certificate
  18. After the ceremony, Will will mail your marriage certificate to be certified.


Total Cost: $350

What’s included in the base officiating fee?

  • The base fee covers a face-to-face meeting, unlimited contact for ceremony planning, officiating the ceremony, and certified mailing of the marriage certificate.

CAN YOU ATTEND OUR REHEARSAL?

  • Yes, for an additional $100. If you choose not to have me at the rehearsal, I’ll provide a free guide to help you run it smoothly.

DO YOU CHARGE FOR TRAVEL?

  • Travel within New Hanover County is free. Travel outside will incur additional fees based on mileage and time, which will be disclosed as soon as possible.

WHAT IF OUR CEREMONY RUNS LATE?

  • A 30-minute buffer is available for $25. Extended time beyond that is not guaranteed.

HOW DO WE SECURE OUR WEDDING DATE?

  • A $100 deposit is required to secure your date. Payments can be made via cash, check, money order, or PayPal (jwpceremonies@gmail.com)
