How to Get a Kalamazoo County Marriage License
First, you’ll need to schedule an appointment at the Kalamazoo County Clerk’s Office.

Requirements:

Notes:

- There is a required 3-day waiting period to obtain a license after submitting an application.
- The license is valid for 33 days from the date of application.
- If you need to waive the 3-day waiting period, an additional $15 fee applies.

Getting Married With an Officiant
Once you get your marriage license, you can schedule a time with an officiant to hold your ceremony.

- Your partner and two witnesses (18 or older).

- The officiant and witnesses will sign the marriage license during the ceremony, making your marriage legally valid.
