The Famous and Golden Nugget Neon Signs - Wedding at the Neon Museum
I had one very unique experience at the wedding at the Neon Museum! my couples who booked me had a few hurdles but we overcame them with love and joy! The Neon Museum is located in the northwestern part of Las Vegas. They're typically very busy with tourist shuttles and uber drivers pack the drop-off driveways. In a different site, they held a different "graveyard" for these iconic neon signs. They show their age through their lead paint that either was washed from the 120 degrees F. sun. Reds became pink salmon and bright oranges, yellows became pastel lemons, and blues, well...sky blues. My favorite part is that the museum left some of the large old filament bulb, which is the size of a grapefruit.
My couples had hired me to photograph their wedding, I got there about an hour early just to see how the light will affect my shots, I also captured some of the details of the venue. Which, if you are a photographer, your couples will appreciate remembering how their venues looked. The bride wore "Miss to Mrs." Purse which you can find here. Her earrings and necklaces were handmade by her best friend. Which I highly appreciate!
Down at the Isle were about 20 guests waiting for her to walk down the aisle. I can see and feel the nervousness, at one point she tear up and I just feel very passionate about her day.
You can find the Neon Museum's website here, I believe they charge for an outside photographer, the prices are up to them.
