About
Josh and Lisa wanted an early morning beach wedding, So they asked for suggestions and initially thought the most secluded part, beach access #4. Near the northern end of Wrightsville beach. A few days prior I scouted the area at 5:00 AM to find the least foot traffic. We ended up at Jack Parker at Beach Access #43.
As a photographer, I knew that as soon as the sun hits the water, I wont have a lot of time before the sun becomes unbearable and would hit the skin a little too bright. So I asked them to start their couples session before the ceremony. I wanted this to look very cinematic and I think I did a good job of doing that.
By the time it was sunrise, the gnats and sandflies started feasting on our skin like it was a buffet. Probably because of how sweet the sand from beach goers spilling drinks in the sand, which was popular amongst the insects. 🐞
