I moved to the US in 1999 with just a passport, a few clothes on my back and photographs of what home was like then.
Being Filipino, family is everything to us. Every birthday, vacation, holiday, Christmas and especially New Year’s was loud, delicious and full of laughter and guitar. We sang karaoke, made lumpia and chicken adobo, and everything in between. I captured all of it.

Your wedding is a day to enjoy. I follow the energy of the people around you, moving between photos and video at the right moments. The little details, the big feelings, and everything in between become a story you can return to.

Every wedding has its own people, its own energy, and its own story. Here are a few moments from the days I’ve had the chance to capture.
You’ve said your vows. Now you get to walk into a room full of your favorite people and celebrate. There’s cheering, a little chaos, and that feeling of finally letting your shoulders drop. I’m watching the two of you, but also the friends waving from their tables and the parents who can’t stop smiling.
Maybe you practiced in the kitchen. Maybe you’re planning to make it up as you go. Either way, this part belongs to you. I photograph the way you hold each other and use video to bring back the movement, the little laughs, and everyone joining in around you.
Someone brings up a story you haven’t thought about in years. Someone else gets a few words in before the tears start. I love watching the room during speeches, because the reactions tell just as much of the story. Your best friend laughing, your partner squeezing your hand, your family taking it all in.
This is where the night takes on a life of its own. Your friends pull you onto the dance floor, someone requests that song, and suddenly everyone knows the words. I move with the crowd and follow whatever happens next. You don’t need to stop having fun for the camera. Keep going. That’s the good stuff.
Some of my favorite moments happen just outside the spotlight. A long hug between songs. Your parents sitting together, watching the room. The two of you stepping away for a breath before heading back in. I keep looking for those moments, because they’re easy to miss when you’re living them.
By the end of the night, shoes are off and nobody wants to leave. There’s one more song, one more hug, one more reason to stay a little longer. I want your photos and video to bring you back to that feeling. Not just how the reception looked, but who was there and how much fun you had together.
