Deposits, Refunds, and Cancellation

I started my wedding photography business 8 years ago. In that time, I've come across all sorts of different scenarios that required deposits. Some were big and some were small, but each one was important. The most important thing I've learned is that you should never take a deposit for granted. Each and every one of them is an opportunity to build trust with your clients. By being upfront about what the deposit covers and why it's necessary, you can set the tone for a positive and productive relationship. And that's what wedding photography is all about!
