Freeman Park (Carolina Beach)

Dogs are allowed off-leash from October 1 to March 31, but they must be leashed during peak season.


Topsail Beach

Dogs can be off-leash until May 15, as long as they are well-behaved. Note that North Topsail Beach has different rules.


Holden Beach

Similar to Topsail, dogs can be off-leash in the off-season, but must be leashed in the summer.
